Aerators

Newton Industrial Group has been developing and manufacturing aerators for the past 7 years.  Its latest design uses an innovative aerator/pump to create a water stream with a high proportion of air bubbles entrained within it.  The pump is designed so that it is highly energy efficient within the required duty cycle.  Its design was supported by the UK's Technology Strategy Board.

Research is ongoing into how to extract the maximum amount of oxygen from those air bubbles.   There is an investigation into 3 sequential oxygen transfer zones.  This would incorporate an initial pump oxygen transfer and draft tube and bubble diffuser systems..
