Newton Galley Sampler GS300

How It Works

Galley Sampler Operation

The Galley sampler is designed so that a dust sample is collected in the same way and at the same height at which an operator would inhale.

The Filter Holder A is precisely manufactured so that the speed of air flowing into the filter is comparable to the speed of air inhaled by an operator.

The Display B shows the Current Air Flow Rate, the Volume of Air processed in the current sample and the Sample Time remaining.

The Flow Meter C monitors the pressure drop (directly related to the flow into the meter) across an orifice plate.  The orifice plate is computer calculated to relate to the diameter of the downflow tube in accordance with BS EN ISO 5167/1
