in 1969, initially Newton worked in close collaboration with Lever
Bros (Unilever) producing one-off instruments for use at Port Sunlight
in the U.K.
One of these instruments, the galley sampler, has now been manufactured
by Newton Instruments for over 30 years and is supplied to detergent
manufacturers throughout the world.
The torque tester, which measures crease strength in packaging is
also supplied to packaging suppliers and packagers throughout the
world.
Newton also manufactures access systems for the construction industry.
