Rainstore - Rainfall Harvesting System
With a Rainstore system, rainwater is collected from the roof of your premises, filtered and stored in an outside storage tank ready for re-use. Stored water is then pumped to an internal header tank using a pump powered by a photovoltaic (solar electric) panel. No mains electricity is used, so reducing greenhouse gases which are a cause of climate change.
A patented aeration device increases the dissolved oxygen content of the stored water automatically twice a day, keeping it fresh and able to be stored longer. When the Rainstore system senses there is insufficient rainwater stored it automatically reverts to mains water so ensuring continuity of supply.
Our latest design provides a large communal collection tank that has enough capacity for a number of houses or a large industrial user Supplies to the individual houses or users
